Keepers of the Flame II

Keepers of the flame are the people of God that allow Him full access to every area of their lives. They have a real relationship with the Most High. When He reveals to them the things that they need relief from they allow Him to remove it no matter how painful it is. No matter how many times they fall, get hurt or hesitate they will give Him access to what needs to be cleansed. They will

Obedience

When God tells you to do something its more for your own benefit than anybody else’s. The other day Father told me to stop trying to walk in other people’s shoes, walk in your own. Be you no one can be better or worse than you if you simply be you because you’re the only you there is. It means you are the best you. There’s no need to compete or compare

Should Women Cover Their Heads?

The angelic host works with us to fulfill the will of the Most High. Many people want to grow in their relationship with understanding and interactions with the angelic host to accomplish their purpose in the earth. I also had this desire. I unknowingly began doing something I feel makes a big difference. I began wearing my baseball cap to church once I started growing my hair out natural. I was going through a real fiery trial to learn to do anything with it. I would be in praise and worship and hear take off your

Spirit Spouses

Most people today know what a spirit spouse is but just in case some of us don’t here we go. A sprit spouse is that person in our heads we have sex with. Yup! They are really demons that we interact with on a spiritual level thus the name spirit spouse. When we fantasize about that hot guy with the too small shirt and tight jeans at work a demon sees those sinful thoughts and acts on them with images in our imagination. We open the door to sinful thinking, and they take over. It doesn’t have to be someone we really know it can be some actor or actress from television, a musician we fantasize about, a neighbor that strong cute guy that always loads your groceries for you. Take your pick. Perhaps for you it’s an ex.

Fornication

If you don’t know what fornication is let me fill you in on it. Fornication is sex and you aren’t married. Yes, read that again I said SEX and you AIN’T married. Giggling but let’s get serious. Some of us really don’t understand some of the words that are in the bible. We don’t care what they are, we don’t search to find out what they mean and certainly don’t ask what it is. The preacher says it quick or you’re on Facebook, Instagram of taking a selfie and missed what was said. And let’s be honest how many of us really read our bibles during the week? If we do, we skip those areas, right? I know I did and didn’t. What I mean is I would read about fornication get curious to know what it meant but never asked and didn’t bother with looking it up.

Marriage is Work

Marriage is a union between a man and a woman before God. During the making of this contract or covenant there is the exchange of vows and expectations. Promises are made but it goes way deeper than that. Marriage is service. It’s saying I am here until the day I leave the earth. I’m yours and will be faithful, honest and supportive to you. It’s two people becoming one flesh. Its two people saying I love you enough to become what you need me to be for you.

Waiting on a Spouse...

Why do we become a Christian only to turn back to the world and try to live in it or pull us a spouse from it instead of waiting on God? I once passed a sermon by Joshua Selman on YouTube about the mystery of waiting on God. I didn’t even have to watch the video because God has already dealt with me on the art of waiting. I knew what he would be saying. Perhaps something like it’s both a blessing and a privilege to wait on the Lord and indeed it is. From personal experience He exposes to us what’s really

Ore Processing: Our Processing

Much like processing ore to silver God processes us from sinful to righteous. In the beginning stage we are rough, dirty and at first glance not very valuable. However, God sees the truth of what can happen when He does some processing. During this stage of processing, we are cleaned off some just like the ore when removed from the earth. After we accept Christ the dirt’s removed, and processing can

Discernment

If you were in a cage and the person across from you were in a cage and they began to tell you how to be free would you listen to them? In most cases no you’re not going to listen. Why? Because they are in the same position you are in. If what you are telling me is true, why are you caged? This is the natural thought process for many of us. But what if their being caged was only

We're Not Right Just Because We're Grown

One of the things I love most about my children is that they are quick to see correction as truth. What I mean is if I must correct them even the ones that are grown, they are quick to realize what it is that I am saying, quick to apologize and just as quick to correct it. I love seeing how they can handle correction. They remain teachable. Now that’s not to say that every time
