Should Women Cover Their Heads?

The angelic host works with us to fulfill the will of the Most High. Many people want to grow in their relationship with understanding and interactions with the angelic host to accomplish their purpose in the earth. I also had this desire. I unknowingly began doing something I feel makes a big difference. I began wearing my baseball cap to church once I started growing my hair out natural. I was going through a real fiery trial to learn to do anything with it. I would be in praise and worship and hear take off your shoes. I was like what? And the voice would say it again take off your shoes. So, I stepped out of my shoes kept praising and worshipping Father. I would have the most wonderful visions of the heavenlies. I later through a mentoring class learned that some angels would require you to take off your shoes in their presence. I was blown away.

One day I was listening to Dr. Tony Evans sermon Angels Good Bad and Ugly and I got an understanding through his teaching that women should cover their heads when they pray. You heard me right. I unknowingly had my hat on covering my head while attending church services, praise and worship at home and even prayer at home. Once I came to this understanding, I purchased a bonnet and began to use it when I prayed. Not long after this I began to realize that I was interacting with Holy Spirit on a higher level than before and Her voice became so clear to me.

Alright what bible do I have to back this up with right? First Corinthians 11 verses three through fifteen. Paul teaches us that a woman should pray and prophesy with her head covered. Her hair is given to her as a covering it is her glory. In verse five Paul tells us that if a woman prays and prophesies with her head uncovered it is a shame and that she should be shorn or shaven and if she is not shorn or shaven, she should be covered. Here’s a difference however if her hair be long, she has no need for the covering as her hair was given to her for the covering. How long is long enough? Verse ten says for this cause ought the woman to have power on her head because of the angels. Angelic activity increases when we obey the voice of the Lord. Once this activity increases, we are better able to operate with the angelic host to accomplish those things Father would have us accomplish.

Paul also tells us in verse seven that a man ought not to cover his head, forasmuch as he is the image and glory of God: but the woman is the glory of the man. So, men ought not to cover their heads and women should if they don’t have long hair. The obedience to this one requirement has helped set me on a path of hearing from Father more clearly and understanding His plans for my life. I’m better able to receive messages from the messengers He sends. Answered prayers have increased and clarity for better decision making as well.
