Questions

I’ve learned a very quick effective yet simple way to minister to people. I ask them one question that leads to a second question that in most cases sets fire in them to find the answer or at least causes them to ask me for the answer. So far, I have not been disappointed. I love to see the smiles on their faces when they get hot for the answer. I am truly blessed when they tell me how I have blessed them with my conversation.

Today I want to ask you the same 2 questions. One, should we keep the ten commandments listed in the old testament in Exodus 20? I have never met a person to tell me no. So, now I will work with the assumption that you also agree that we should keep them. Now, second question is this.

If we are to keep the ten commandments, why do we go to church on Sunday when scripture tells us to honor the Sabbath day to keep it holy? I get so many I don’t know and that’s a good question, I’m amazed at the responses but, the response I love most is when they ask me why we go to church on Sunday then. I then share with them that the Catholic church made the change so they can honor the venerable day of the sun god they worship. Wait, are you saying what I think you’re saying? Yes, I am if what you think I’m saying is that you are not worshipping the God of the Bible on Sunday.

I honestly think of the movie the Matrix when I think of the catholic church and what they have done, said and have planned. It’s like Morpheus telling Neo to choose between the pills and see how far the rabbit hole goes. They have made many changes that effect the way we live our lives and the way we read and apply the Bible to our life.

So, my last question to you is what are you going to do about it? Will you continue to go to church on Sunday to worship the Sun god or will you choose to go to church on the Sabbath and worship the God of the bible?  Now if you will google who changed the Sabbath day to Sunday you will find that Roman Emperor Constantine I, issued the civil decree making Sunday a day of rest.
