His Strength
/When I think of a man’s value I think of strength and courage. It takes a strong and courageous man to do what the Most High is asking of him. To go to a job he most likely does not like, day after day, to earn a living to provide for his household the resources needed. Every single mother knows the hardship of having to work and pay bills and to choose between groceries and gas. Therefore, we should easily relate to men, yet many women disrespect a man that does it, when we should be appreciating the fact that she doesn’t have to do it because he’s doing it. Everyone wants to be respected and loved.
The strength of a man seems simple but its much deeper than just paying bills and being physically strong. They must be strong to not only build up their legacy but to do it righteously, and to protect it. To love a woman may very well be the hardest thing a man has to do. This is why his relationship with the Most High is so important. He must know how to follow Christ, so he knows what it feels like to follow. He must know how to reciprocate love with Christ so he can love his woman the way she needs to be loved. Loving her right lets everything else flow she will do everything in her power to make sure that his home is the haven they need it to be.
A man must be strong and courageous to lead, why? Because at some point in the journey those that follow will want answers to questions, he may not be ready to answer yet. His position and authority will be challenged, and he must be strong enough to correct it. This kind of strength takes courage. Can you tell me if I’m wrong? Will you correct me when I’m wrong? If I challenge authority or ask questions, you’re not ready to answer, will you tell me that.
A man must stand his ground by not allowing his woman to run all over him or lead when he knows it’s his responsibility to lead. It also takes courage for men to actual do what they are supposed to do. Lots of men know what they should be doing rather they do it or not is a whole other story. It takes courage to lovingly correct, it takes courage to remind her of her role when she needs it. It takes courage to address things that will lead to disrespect later if left unchecked. A man can do a lot of things that take strength and courage but loving his woman in righteousness will be his second greatest accomplishment.
